I can explain!!

Recruiting prospective students!

Hello  friends! I apologize that I have not been around to your blogs as much of late. As some of you know, I work as a college admissions counselor and I have been doing a lot of traveling/recruiting lately since it's the travel season.

I really love the travel aspect of my job. Going to recruiting events by traveling through the scenic mountains of Kentucky is an indescribable experience.

I will be back to visit y'all regularly again in about two weeks!

Only 85 days til' Christmas!!

  34. Sounds like a fun job you have, college admissions, travel, eager students.
Good reasons for being away . . . More so than my reasons of being away.
Having a grand time though with day trips and a DC trip happening soon.
And Christmas decorations are appearing in the stores . . . REALLY!
I am just now into the fall colors and yet to whisper Halloween . . .

  35. Part of the reason I liked the Navy so much was all the traveling I did. Now, more than nine years after retirement, I'd like a job that sent me "on the road" again.
Plus, you can't beat those little hotel soaps.

  36. I've missed your visits Keith. You have a cool job. Good luck with recruiting new students.

  58. I traveled across many states when my husband and I drove to Kentucky for our cross country move. Kentucky is one of the most beautiful states, hands down. I'm glad more people don't know how pretty Kentucky really is, I love that it isn't overcrowded and overbuilt here. I love the open countryside. Beautiful.

  59. I worked at Purdue University in Kokomo, IN for 15 years. I remember our recruiting counselor visiting a lot of high schools during this time of year. Our scenery is nothing like yours though, unless you head to Southern Indiana. Up here it's cornfields, bean fields, and flat land!
